remember those men and women who have died in service to our country.

These words are inscribed on the Tomb of the Unknown
Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. The Tomb of the Unknowns
symbolizes those of America who gave their lives in World War I, World War
II, and the Korean War in defense of the Nation’s integrity, honor, and

National Veterans Day Ceremony
The Veterans Day National Ceremony is held on November
11th at Arlington National
Cemetery. At 11:00 a.m., a color guard, made up of members from each
of the military services, renders honors to America's war dead during a
tradition-rich ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns. The ceremony takes
place inside the Memorial Amphitheater. (Read
